I rejoice at the great amount of gospel tracts, signs, preaching that has gone out over the last few weeks through the efforts of faithful servants of the Lord at BPBC. As the pastor of a Bible-believing Baptist church, my heart’s desire is to see sinners come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. The gospel, after all, is an “outdoor” message and many of the folks who will read a tract will never come to a church building to hear the gospel. Isaiah 55:11 speaks of God sending His word to accomplish His own will and He promises that it will not return void, so our job as soldiers of the cross is to GET IT OUT! I praise God we have watched it go forth through tracts, banners, scripture magnets, etc. at the recent Apple Festival in Liberty, KY, the Civil War parade at Perryville and weekly on the street corners of Danville and Harrodsburg. “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
It is a privilege and honor to serve the Lord. Please help us pray for the harvest as we sow and water the seed of the word of God in our own Jerusalem! God is good!
